A native of the East Coast, our father Bernard “Doc” Brown, moved to Hawai‘i in the late 1950’s. Through his many years of volunteer work and vocation, he fell in love with and embraced the culture and people of Hawaiʻi. If you’re so inclined to donate in his memory, we have selected Punahou School’s Hawaiian Studies Program, which supports and promotes the heritage of Hawaiʻi by educating its students, our leaders of tomorrow, in the culture, history, arts, and language of our islands.
Aloha!
